Beginner Sampler

March 6,13,20,27 Apr. 3,10,17,24 Tuesdays 1 pm - 3 pm OR 6 pm - 8 pm $ 80.00 includes all patterns and instuctions. THE BEST PLACE TO START FOR BEGINNERS ! Ready to start quilting? In this class you will learn how to do all the basic concepts of quilting, i.e., selecting your fabrics, chain piecing, cutting, templates, concave and convex curves, hand and machine applique, triangles, butting seams, pressing, how to set in blocks, putting the sandwich together, machine and hand quilting, make a label and finishing with the binding. You will make a full/queen size quilt consisting of 20 different blocks. Fabric selection will be done the first class. This is the MOST comprehensive class available for beginners. This is a nine week session. Once you finish this class you will be on your way to a whole new world of projects! Be sure to sign up early as this class tends to fill up!
