We need your help !
Inspirations Quilt shop has "adopted" the ConKerr Cancer program which make a cheerful pillowcase for children who are sick with cancer or another serious illness. Kits are available in the shop for $5.00 the cost of the fabric. All pillowcases created in the area are distributed to the Janet Weis Childrens Hosptial Danville, PA. A pattern is included with each kit or you may stop by and pick up a brochure at the shop. Making a pillowcase is easy, rewarding, and it can have a positive impact on a child in need.

An Inspired Organization
ConKerr Cancer was started in 2002 when Cindy Kerr began making colorful pillowcases for her son Ryan who was in the hospital for long periods of time. The pillowcases brightened up his hospital room and put a smile on his face. The pillowcases became so loved by Ryan that Cindy and friends began making them for other sick children. Ever since, the organization has grown rapidly.
A worldwide mission
Tens of thousands of pillowcases have already been made by thousands of volunteers. ConKerr Cancer has established local chapters across North America and around the world. For more information about the program visit:
