Turning 20 Again
February 18, 25 March 3 Saturdays 11 am - 3 pm. Advance Beginners. $30.00 plus book. Just like it says, turning 20. That's fat quarters. That's right only 20 fat quarters make this great quilt. Mix and match colors and fabrics to give you a unique and colorful quilt. Pick a few of your favorite colors and create a one of a kind quilt. So much fun and a very quick and easy quilt to complete. Hobo Lap Quilt
Feb. 24, Mar. 9, 23, Apr. 13, 27 Fridays. 12 pm - 3 pm OR 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. $ 60.00 includes class fee and ALL fabric for 60 blocks. Intermediate. We have all heard the stores of the Hobo's on the railroad, well here is your chance to learn about their secret "sign" language and create a story-telling lap quilt. We will be making the "Mulligan Stew" lap quilt which is a sampler quilt depicting all 60 of the secret "sign" language of the Hobo's. Class fee includes all fabric for all 60 of these blocks. You will need to purchase the book and your sashing and border fabric. Book has patterns for many other quilts as well as stories of how some of these blocks came to be and stores of the hobo's themselves. You will learn simple applique blocks, paper piecing blocks and traditional blocks. Class is held bi-weekly over a 3 month basis so there is plenty of time to learn and create this special story telling quilt. Taught by Donna
